Campfire Guide

When you join for the first time:

1. You get teleported to spawn
2. A welcome book appears in your inventory with rules and commands
3. You get assigned a buddy — an experienced player to show you around
4. The admin gets a notification so they can check in on you

Vitality is not a timer that kicks you off — it is a game mechanic, like hunger or health. The longer you play, the less rewarding the game becomes. This makes each session valuable.

Times are defaults — your parents can set custom limits. Check with /cf v. Weekly cap: 8 hours. Resets Monday.

Embers are earned by logging off healthy — while still in FULL or NORMAL phase. They decay 10% daily (demurrage), so spend them regularly.

Ember Shop

Fight AI bots without risking your gear. Your inventory is saved when you enter and restored if you die. Difficulty adapts to your skill — 3 wins in a row and it gets harder, 3 losses and it gets easier.

The barter board is a player-to-player trading system. Post what you have and what you want, and other players can browse listings in a chest-style GUI — like an auction house.

Click on a listing to see details and find out who posted it. All trades happen in person — meet up and exchange items directly.

Your own listings show as gold, others as emerald. No fees — just trade!

Dares and missions tied to Kilifi — the creek, the forest, the reef, the campus. Complete them, write about them in a Book & Quill, hide the book somewhere on the server with clues at spawn. Other players hunt for it.

Completing a challenge earns 15 minutes bonus vitality.

Five categories, announced monthly:

Winners get a title prefix in chat and an armor stand in the Hall of Fame at spawn.

You receive a weekly newsletter via WhatsApp with:

• How much time your child played (against your agreed limits)
• What they built — with 3D BlueMap links you can explore in your browser
• Who they played with
• Conversation starters ("Ask them about the bridge they built with Kai")
• Self-regulation assessment ("Stopped before rest phase 3 of 4 sessions")

Custom limits: Tell the admin what time limits you want for your child. Stricter on school nights, relaxed on weekends — whatever works for your family. The admin sets it and it takes effect immediately.

The admin report includes: health score, player risk flags, event suggestions, plugin recommendations, moderation summary, feature adoption stats, and ember economy overview.
